Working at RedGuard
What has been your background at RedGuard?
I started as an electrician back in September of 2013. I later moved up to Electrical Lead, then was the only Lead for a while. I moved into the Supervisor role sometime after that.
Tell us a little about your day-to-day job currently:
My primary duties are ensuring the PC shop floor works safely, efficiently, and as smoothly as possible. I help get engineering questions answered, look for materials, complete finished project paperwork, and line out shop techs on processes.
What do you enjoy most about working at RedGuard?
I really enjoy the crew we have here on the PC shop floor. We have a great group of guys that work well together. I have known some of these guys for 8 or 9 years. We try to keep a light atmosphere but work hard.

What was the first job you had growing up?
Mowing
People would be surprised if they knew (about me):
I have broken over 25 bones throughout my short 42 years. Play hard or go home.
My weekends are usually spent doing…
Whatever she tells me to do.
What skill do you think everyone should learn?
Basic use of hand tools. You can save some money if you aren’t afraid to work on things yourself.
Best place you have traveled to and why?
Hawaii is the most beautiful place I have ever been to. The only place I have been on a vacation where I truly did not want to come back.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve would have to be people that feel like they have to interject their thoughts and opinions about things that they have no clue about.
